It seems like the ultimate human-made religion. Sounds like it started because Oprah saw fit to judge God and His revelation, and it all went downhill from there.
Amazing that millions are following blindly.

John, so what is your view on evangelism and the Gospel? I don’t think anyone is condemning, but it is our duty to point out behavior inconsistent with Scripture.
As far as what Oprah said, there can be no reconciliation with what she said and: “Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

I think it all began with a lack of understanding on her part. She says that
she opened her mind after she heard that God was a jealous God because she
thought he was a loving God. Open minded ? I think its rather shallow minded
because if we truly love someone we’re naturally gonna be jealous, after all
we were made in the image and likeness of God. Also she says that we make God
in our image. It seems to me thats exactly what she’s doing. If she were to
realize the communicable attributes that we have with God she would open her
shallow mind and believe what thousands of year old scripture says. “We were
made in the image and likeness of God.” And that Jesus is in the “express
image of God”, and he perfectly shows that jealousy in a loving manner,(eg.overthrowing the moneychangers tables in the temple) and as
we are “conformed into Jesus’ image” we learn to do the same. Its called
sanctification, (being cleansed from sin and unrighteousness). Therefore Jesus
is indeed the only way. Even the richest woman in the world can’t stand up
against God Almighty.
Joseph, you are right. She completely misunderstood the commandment. The word does not mean that God is envious of anyone. The word is more correctly rendered as zealous, and is a direct reference to the justice and holiness of God, and as the sole object of man’s worship. Which is kinda hard if you are worshiping yourself.

There are some things in Christianity that we cannot understand differently and still remain a Christian – the core doctrine of the Christian faith. One of the core doctrines is that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, and therefore the only way to heaven. Oprah does not believe this; therefore, she cannot be a Christian. We are told in the Bible to judge the teachings of others to make sure that they line up with the scriptures, but we cannot judge the heart of others, for only God can do that. Acts 17:11, “the Bereans…examined the scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”
I’m not really sure what to think of Oprah’s new “religion” to be honest. All I know is that my point of view pertaining to her has been completely turned around. Hers is a sick, sick mind if she believes that she can overrule the laws, commandments, and overall, the sacrifice of God just because she prefers the “feel good all the time” thing than the true faith and love that comes with salvation through Christ Jesus. There is one way to heaven, and hers is NOT it.
Oprah Winfrey needs prayer, because there are levels of hell, and thus far, I don’t think she’ll be on one of the lesser levels. Leading millions of trusting people astray is a sin beyond comprehension, and its horrifying. I can think of no way to argue well with her “religion” which is sad, because I know the truth. How many people will be claimed into sin and new age religion because of her influence? Who’s to say.
I haven’t read Oprah’s book, I don’t want to read it either. I would like Oprah to remain the extraordinary TV Host that she is who has turned everything she touches into gold. Anyone who experienced such fairy tale in real life would also succumb to the idea that she might be able to dillute some objective truths.May the POWER OF THE BLESSED TRINITY BE UPON HER AND HER ADVISERS.The inner god that Oprah was talking about is actually our own conscience. CONSCIENCE IS BEING DEFINED AS “THE MEETING PLACE OF GOD AND MAN” MANY SPIRITUAL LEADERS GIVE DIFFERENT NAMES TO THE VERY SAME BASIC TRUTHS,THUS CREATING MISTAKES AND SOMETIMES BLASPHEMY ON THEIR WAY TO REDISCOVERING THESE TRUTHS.Right now all Oprah needs is our genuine prayer for her to find her way back to the ultimate truth that the BIBLE IS STILL THE GREATEST BOOK EVER WRITTEN FOR THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY!

“ The Church of Oprah Winfrey”. They estimate that she has over 28,000 followers. It is a frightening thing to witness because it is totally unscriptural from the real truth which is the word of God. God warns us in Matthew 7:15 to be aware of any proclaim of a gospel of false peace or teaching that neglects Gods true instruction. These individuals have no accurate understanding of what truth or faith actually is. The only genuine truth and faith comes from God. It comes through devoted alignment with his gospels in the Holy Bible and by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He is the son of God; only through him can we be saved furthermore know genuine truth and faith.
One of the most disturbing and false manifestations of such false Religions was “The People’s Temple” of Jonestown which was originally formed in Indiana. It later moved to California then lastly to Guyana ,South America. It was a religious cult led by Jim Jones in the late 1970’s that has gone down in history as the largest mass suicide in over 1,900 years. It resulted in the deaths of approximately 909 men, woman and children. On November 18th , 1978; Jones led 909 Temple members to death;276 which were children. Then later he took his own life by gunshot There are even claims that Jones audio recorded the orchestration of this during it’s occurrence. Image hearing the cries of agony as they all died because of a lie.
“ The Church of Oprah” which is now the newest manifestation of false teachings may never escalate to a magnitude of a mass suicide, but it will be a contribution of many lost souls. Which is also a destiny led to eternal death. It is claimed in her distorted belief of what is true; that we are God’s within ourselves. That we gain this by coming into harmony with the universe and ourselves .She states that this is how we obtain peace, freedom, happiness and success amongst other things that may begin to manifest as her religion or cult begins to unravel. This is misleading, false and a lie. It is not the truth. It is unscriptural false, ungodly and an abomination in Gods eyes. He created us, this world and all the creatures which inhabit it. This is the result that occurs when people put there faith and belief in what is not truth but is in fact false.
In heartbreaking consequence people put their faith ,trust , truth and inaccurate perception of all things, towards matters that are not in alignment with Gods genuine revelation for us. People begin to position themselves in false individuals, teachings and cults. This is something the enemy loves. He comes to rob, steal and kill. He is the Devil of confusion, lies and wants us all to be blind of the genuine truth in Christ Jesus .In 2Corinthians 4:4 it states “ the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so that they can not see the light of the gospel of glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” God says in Hosea 4:6 that his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge or truth.We must all pray for Gods grace and mercy to awaken her with a Supernatural Godly Intervention that will reveal to her that her principals and beliefs are FALSE.
ONE LAST POINT OR VIEW.
When we come in alignment with his word and truly have faith at hand, we can overcome and defeat all things in the name of Jesus .It is our job as believers to testify Gods greatness so no one will perish.We must bear fruit, prepare ourselves and remember that we are the light of the world. Together, all of us must reach out to those whom are blind, so by Gods Glory they will have sight. For Gods grace is sufficient; but his complete manifestation nor purpose can not come to pass without knowing his genuine truth that activates our faith, and the truth is God.
Someone once said to me that as God lives in us, He becomes us, and thus we become Him. Is this the right way to put it in words?
If you believe that what you are essentially “preaching” to a mass, that you have learned from others, is correct in the name of Christ, how are you then judged if you are wrong?

Wow! I can’t believe all these comments. As a Christian, I am really beginning to get freaked out by people who use that label for themselves, while constantly judging someone else’s Christianity. Jesus himself, when a prostitute was brought to him, said “let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” He went on to say, “neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more.”
If Jesus himself doesn’t condemn the sinner, how did we get so arrogant as to think that we can?! If you are concerned about someone’s spiritual state, turn it over to God. The problem, to me, is that we pray, but we don’t believe our prayers will be answered.
As a nurse, I spent much of my career working with alcoholics and addicts. There was a wonderful, elderly pastor, himself a recovering alcoholic, who often spoke to the group. Someone once asked him if he didn’t get discouraged by the small percentages of those who don’t make it the first time around. He said, “I say a prayer and let them go. They are in God’s hands. The seed has been sown. They will recover.” It’s one thing to prayer for another’s salvation. It’s another to condemn them for their views if they don’t fit into our often rigid, narrow interpretation of God’s Word.
Pray for whomever you feel led. Then let it go, and turn your attention inward and seek to follow Christ’s example. I long to begin to see more of the “fruits of the Spirit” from “Christians”. For me, at this point, “by their fruits ye shall know them”. Talk is cheap. God sees the heart. It’s what there, from the example
I see, that I can truly call someone Christian…follower of Christ, and not some religious teaching that they have been fed by well intentioned, but sometimes misguided, parents, churches, teachers, etc.

She’s a public figure, A woman adored by millions if not billions, even presidents. She denies Jesus in public, so shall I do the opposite, in public. She speaks against my Lord in public, so shall we speak against that in public.
“Eph 5:6-7 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
And by the permission of Eph 5:9-13, We as the children of God, saved by the blood of Christ and as the children of the light shall continue with no shame, but even more strength to prove what is not of God, in the light(Public).
“Eph 5:9-13 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) (10) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. (11) And have no fellowship, with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. (13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.”
By all means, the scripture permits us, not because we have fear, but because we stand for the truth and love.
To my fellow children of the light out there, this is our time, and the time of our Lord to come for us, hold tight to his truth and live by his words.

I have always admired Oprah with her down to earth way of looking at issues; her achievements are astounding but this time round she’s got it wrong. As a born again christian, I wouldn’t judge her for that’s for God to do; however it’s my obligation and so it is for many others in my like mind to point out errors when they occur, make corrections based on pure biblical truth and to indeed place our lamps where the light will shine to all.
The old testament prophets prophesied of the messiah who would take away all our sins, the lamb of God. Eye witnesses in the new testament saw and it was recorded of how Jesus Christ by the holy spirit was the messiah. The story of Jesus exorcising demons by the name of ‘legion’ is one of the many testimonies of his true identity as the demons recognised him as the son of God..’remember they were in heaven before they and their master lucifer were chased out’.
I come from the kikuyu tribe in Kenya who traditionally used to worship God whom they believed was the creator of the whole universe; by facing mount Kenya. In times of strife, they offered sacrifices of lambs without blemish to God and true enough, God always answered their prayers i.e for rain, children, peace etc. Not everyone did such sacrifices and those who did had to undergo a cleansing process and were even secluded from the rest of the community prior to offering such prayers and sacrifice for they believed God was holy. The lamb to be sacrificed was also well fed and put in it’s own enclosure.
Despite their very pious way of worship, the kikuyus embraced and indeed God must have quickly enlightned them to the fact that it’s only through His altimate sacrifice in the form of His son without the blemish of sin who is the only way to God.
Sacrifice and the shedding of blood even in the old testament was the only way of atoning for peoples sins. Jesus Christ is the final and the only justifying sacrifice before God. Oprah, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we all need Jesus to cleanse us and make us right with God.
God is holy and man in his worldly sinful form can’t even see Him let alone be Him. By God’s grace and so much love, He created man in His own image. The closest we get to God is through Jesus Christ who is His own image. The closest we can get in experience is by receiving His Holy spirit who is our counsellor through accepting Jesus as our Lord and saviour. Oprah, seriously, man with all his weakness can’t be God.
God is jealous because of His great love for His children created in His own image. He is greatly offended when His children whom He has given a free will to obey or disobey Him put their faith, trust and believe in any other being or item which is also created by Him!. God father, God son and God holy spirit is everything unto Himself, the begining and the end. Jesus Christ who is God the son came so that we who believe in him will one day see God and have an everlasting life, a life of abundance; our bodies will by then be transformed to be like Jesus Christ himself.
What we all need to do as Christians is to pray for Oprah to believe in our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
I BELIEVE JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. OPRAH has gone a stray,let us pray she finds her way back to the light.Let us all be aware of FALSE DOCTRINE!!!!! If you allow someone with a smooth tongue and gentle smile to persuade you from grace, understand one thing HELL IS REAL!!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL

its shocking and disappointing what Oprah has become..i pray that she comes to her senses sooner. otherwise, she is headed for distruction.
It’s amazing how the devil twists our minds with half-truths. We step out looking for God and because we (being sinful in nature) don’t like a certain aspect of Him, so we have to prove that He will accept sin in any form for He is a loving God. But the thing is He’s a LOVING GOD who doesn’t like sin because sin is what separates us from Him. Therefore, He will be jealous for he wants to communicate with us without any interruption and cant do so effectively because of SIN. He made laws not to oppresses us but rather develop a character that is like His own so that we can once again commune with Him. 🙂
