Lordship and Assurance

Over at the Pulpit Magazine blog (http://www.sfpulpit.com), there is an ongoing series on Lordship Salvation. Over the last few weeks, there has been many valuable insights from the Grace team on what exactly Lordship Salvation means. The usual vocal opponents have surfaced, and voiced their normal objections.
One of the cornerstones of the non-Lordship camp [...]

Those who don’t believe in God have their own doctrines, and since those of us who believe in the Doctrines of Grace have them neatly described, I thought I could also describe the doctrines of unbelief that I have encountered in debate.
1. Disbelief in the supernatural – Nothing exists outside the empirically verifiable.

There is currently an excellent piece on Christians and politics over at the Pulpit magazine blog.
http://www.sfpulpit.com/

Secular, Christian, sports, news etc…and from it all I try to form an opinion of what is going on [...]

The Power of the Gospel

What exactly is the Gospel? It is the word of God, and it describes man’s inabilities and God’s love. However, it is more than that, it is the word that gives life, it is the verbalization of salvation. It is the call of God, the supernatural words that opens up change in man.
How powerful is [...]
